Hi, I’m Ploykamol Suwantawit, or you can call me Ploy. I’m originally from Bangkok, Thailand. I moved to Liverpool, UK in 2018 to continue my study in MA Media and Politics and still have no plan to leave this lovely city.
When I was young, I always wanted to be a writer. But my mum disagreed with it because she thought it was a low-paid job (she’s totally not wrong). Luckily, I didn’t care much and kept following my dream until I got a chance to work as a freelance writer/journalist for one of the most popular online news outlets in Thailand.
During the pandemic, I moved back to Bangkok briefly to live with my family. We adopted a Shiba Inu puppy. His name is Keiji, and he is a very naughty boy.
While busy with Keiji, I got an unexpected job offer to work with a well-known politician as a speechwriter.
However, I decided to quit my job and come back to Liverpool to continue my study again, as I want to be a researcher in the future. I don’t know if it is right, but I can say that I’m quite happy with my life 🙂
Currently, I’m living in Liverpool with my boyfriend, who enjoys cooking and watching movies with me every day. All recipes on this website belong to us. So, feel free to use them, and please let us know how do you like them!
