Beef Udon

This is our all-time favourite dish because it can cook in no time (15-20 mins) and is very tasty!


Ingrediant (for 2 persons):

  • 2 packs of Udon noodle
  • Thinly sliced beef
  • Spring Onion
  • One White Onion
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • One pack of Dashi Powder (Japanese Soup Stock)
  • Soy sauce
  • Mirin
  • Sugar
  • White Sesame seed

Let’s make Beef Udon!

  1. Thinly slice whole white onion, mince garlic and grate ginger.
  2. Stir-fry sliced onion until turning golden brown, then add mirin
  3. Add thinly sliced beef, minced garlic and grated ginger and stir-fry them together.
  4. Add boiling water and Dashi powder. Season them with soy sauce and sugar.
  5. Cook Udon noodle until soft and drain well.
  6. Assemble Udon and beef broth in individual bowls. Top with chopped spring onion and sesame seed.
